5 Tips to Be A Productive and Healthy Programmer

1. Hydrate Yourself
Please, please and please. Make sure you’re always hydrated. Water will helps regulate your body temperature, lubricate joints, transport nutrients, remove waste and circulate blood. That means your body can’t properly perform these functions if you’re dehydrated. Thus, it will affect your body as well as your mood for the day.

2. Protect Eyes

There are multiple ways here. First you can try to avoid glare from windows and lights. Use an anti-glare screen if needed. Second, rest your eyes every 20 minutes. Look 20 feet away for 20 seconds. Get up at least every 2 hours and take a 15-minute break.

3. Exercise

Our body is not made to remain in front of a desk all day long. So, make sure at least you go for walking or jogging at the park during evening or early in the morning. Make sure you sweat at least once a day by doing some movements.
