Scientist Who Cannot Communicate Properly

On 27th August 2015, a Microbiologist shared on Scientists are Hopeless In Communicating on The Sydney Morning Herald website. In his thoughts, he said that most scientists cannot communicate properly. It came with Science students nowadays, cannot communicate with confidence even if they perform the best in their examinations.

So, let me share some ways to improve confidence in communicating for Science students. First, students should read a lot of novel-like books. Even if you are still obsessed with Sciences, you can still read a science-fiction novel. It is because students will be exposed to a better way to communicate with confidence while reading a novel.

Second, students should join communication workshops like debate workshops, speech workshops, storytelling workshops, and more. It might seem unrelated to Sciences, but this is important knowledge too because you will gain confidence to talk in front of people by joining the workshop mentioned above.

Third, talk in front of the mirror. Most people who give a marvelous speech will do this. Through this, you will know how you should act when you speak about something and how you want to be comfortable when communicating with someone.
